84 RX-7 GSL Wheels

My new toy came with two 'X' rims on one side, a spider and a pony on the other.

Any recommendations regarding how to proceed? I bought two Xs rims from the salvage yard, thinking to try and work the powder with a Dremil or some such, and see how bad the alloy has become.

Just trying to get her back on her feet.

I also ha e a question about 13 in. rims and tires in general. Is it hard to get 13 in. tires for those rims. Should I change to another rim size for convenience?

You can still get BF Gs in 205/60, they are a nice nostalgic look and handle great.

You can polish the wheels if the finish has oxidized. Or you can find a cleaner set than what you have and replace them. They come up for sale often. A buddy just gave me four of them, with tires, because they were taking up space in his garage.

Well, hell; pay it forward and send those puppies home to me; since now they are just taking up space in your garage.🤣🤣🤣

I sold a very nice set w/ almost new rubber for $200 last year. You'll find a set. At least you have something on it now while you work on it. The right rear is an early RX7 "waffle" rim and the front looks like the spare tire. What'd you call it, a pony rim?

If you weren't in California a d a little closer to Ohio, I'd be happy to pass them on to you. But dismounting the tires and shipping would likely not be terribly cheap. It may be easier to find a set locally.
