84 GSL SE Wiring issues (With Video)
Hi guys, thought I'd do this a bit differently. I've taken 3 videos of the issues im having as pictures dont seem to be enough, so some input would be greatly greatly appreciated. Engines been sitting for about 4 months on a fresh rebuild and hasnt been started, and I need to get around to doing that before something bad happens. Im only days away if I can get these figured out.
So far, it wont start at all. Currently in the process of switching out the fusable links with a 2nd gen set, so if you notice no fuses.. thats why.

in the first vid, the 2 wire female plug with the hood on it looks like one that plugs to one of the ignitors on the dist. 2nd vid, the bracket with the wire going thru it mounts to the long starter bolt, engine side. there's going to be several plugs that won't go to anything.

Unfortunatly Rxtasy, the Distributors ignitors are allready both plugged in, and theres no way that cable could make it up to the distributor, too short.
Keep em coming

Plug with black rubber cover is the fuel pump short terminal. Jumper between the terminals makes the fuel pump come on whenever key is turned on. Three wire green plug is the TPS test plug. Both should normally be empty.
If the red wires on the plugs near the headlights are really Red with green stripe, they are for side marker lights. Plug near brake cylinder is either brake fluid level or the square yellow diode in that area. Both have same type plug with Black/red and Black wire.
Wire colors including the stripes would help.
Hose goes to the nipple on the side of the oil fill tube. See FSM section 4B 13B Emission. First two diagrams are emission and vac hose routing.

Wrong. Diode (small yellow plastic cube) plug has Black/red and Blue/white wires. Three pin plug in that area is connector between the front harness and the AC harness. If you don't have AC, you might not have the matching plug. Wire colors should be 2) Black/yellow to one terminal, Blue/black and Green/black to other two terminals. Matching plug should have the same color wires except 1) Black/yellow instead of 2) Black/white.
