84 gsl-se no start
So I read the no start thread and tried as much of it as I could for the night, its getting dark and its in a no light spot.
Back ground, I drove it to work on monday, parked it and did nothing to it since then. Went out this morning and it just spins, no fire.
So this evening I pulled the lead 1 plug, it looked pretty good, no fuel or build up( I changed plugs just 3 weeks ago) and checked for spark, nice spark, also had a ncie cloud of fuel from the hole.
I did this with both leading plugs.
I pulled the trailing plugs and found they both had fuel on them so I changed back to my old plugs and still got nothing.
My question is, what would cause just trailing plugs to be wet but not leading plugs, and any help that comes from this would be greatly helpful.
Just for conversation sake, it sure sounds like three nice pulses from each hole, so I think compression is okay, I dont have a tester atm.

So it appears my wife started it and moved it and shut it down before a full warm up.
Guessing ill try the deflooding methods listed.
Any suggestions on a good place to have injectors rebuilt, or a reasonably priced place for remans?
Noticed my oil was saturated, so im guessing ive got a leaky injector to boot.

Ok, so I drained the oil, refilled, pulled the engine fuse cranked it for a go 30 seconds, flushed it all out, reinstalled the plugs, let it push the bugs away for a minute, took it for a drive.
Found a new issue, as I was driving along all of a sudden the amp meter and tack started jumping up to 4 and 5k and just bouncing randomly around.
The amp gauge jumped from 3 to 16 random jumping.
The engine to be idling relatively smooth but as I tried to accelerate to get up a hill it was cutting out and surging abit.
I shut it down and waited about 20 seconds and it started up normally and got me home, but I would not enjoy this happening mid traffic.
My first thought is alternator related, as I get alot of drop with lights on and anything else running, but its not something ive ever seen happen with any other vehicle ive owned.
Is this a known issue, or can i provide abit more info. Its hard to describe what its doing.
This car has 160k+ on it, I bought it at the start of winter so it didnt get much work done and this summer has been a nightmare of work hours, so im just getting started working on it.
Sorry for my newbness, im trying to learn this car as I go!

No ideas?
Drat, well ill got with my gut and install a new alternator and start checking grounds and loose wire ends to make sure nothing is shorting that might toss things into a fit.
Did it again today on the way to the car wash, so it doesnt seem to be a one time issue.
Any input or help would be greatly appreciated still though

Problem solved, not alternator, but leads at the the fuselink box where loose and quite dirty.
Thanks for reading this mess anyway, even if it was unproductive for others, it helped me to just type out the issue and think about it while re-reading it.
Now onto panel work
