Question '83 RX7 cornering and oil leak

First: When the car is hot, coming off the highway, it shudders(shakes) when turning either left or right when eccellerating. Feels like the clutch or rear end. It only does it when it is at operating temperature.
Second: It has an oil leak right by the distributor cap (below it on the driver side of the motor) where the front "plate" connects to the body of the engine. Can this be repaired in the car or is it a re and re job ?

Thanking you in advance for any help,

D.G.

you have the infamous dowel pin oil leak
it can be "fixed" but you should really take out the engine and give it an overhual

I got enough oil up there to do a change! I was hopeing to find the problem when I get rid of the rat's nest tomorrow. I am kinda hoping to find a bad oil line or something simple but if not how do you fix the dowel pin witou rebuilding. I plan on building a motor but need this one to last long enough to do that.

This almost sounds like the "chatter" you'll get when you don't have a good limited slip friction modifier in the rear. I had a similar chatter but it all stopped after I installed Redline 75w90
