Someone is selling a full racing beat ewxhaust for basically free, would this hook up to my 79SA?

 

Hmmmm... I'm not so sure that would work directly bolting on out of the box but I'm sure you could make it work, Cause as I believe on the RB website the exhaust for 1983 is specific they have for 81-82 then 83 only then 84-85 so there must be something special with the 83?.....

actually my neighbor has done this, put a RB exhaust from an 83 onto a 79. its an older style. original back from the 80's. it wasnt that big of a deal, but for some reason it hangs pretty low for comfort.

 

racing beat just seems to do that cause mine scraps on every speed bump i go over, with the car at stock height.

 

it will bolt right up, no problems at all.
i put my 84 rb exaust on my 79, i think a couple of the hangers dont work but most of them do. it is real sturdy and dosent hang low at all.
mines the single outlet, btw.

 

You can even make the later model pre-silencers bolt up to the Sa stock connecting pipe.

 

So it will work? This guy is selling a whole 83 parts car with the exhaust for cheap, migfht scrunge the RB off of him
