83 GSL tape deck questions

First thing: isn't there a switch on the radio to disable the fader? When you have the joystick control why does the fader have to still work on the radio. Is that normal?

Second: need a radio schematic for the circuit board inside. The power antenna ground trigger (blue w/ green trace) does not go to ground to put the antenna up when radio is switched on. I'm sure something internal is bad. I would like to have a look. If I had a schematic I'll fix it. Other alternative would be for me slice into the DIN cord to the EQ to get a radio on trigger but going more stock approach.

I remember seeing something on a radio repair manual somewhere online. But it's been a long time. All I need is a schematic. I'm sure I can figure out the circuit without but nice to not have to spend that time tracing something that would be obvious in a schematic
