83 GSL for sale - cheap low miles!!

I'm selling my 83 rx-7 gsl for 1500 obo. I need something with more space to get me to and from college.

The car runs great. It was compression tested 2 months ago and was running perfect. It only has 87000 original miles!!! The car runs like new. It has a sunroof that doesn't leak, 5speed transmission, leather interior, graphic EQ, and lots of other luxuries rarely seen on an 83.

Interior:
Interior is perfect except for a tear in the passenger's LEATHER SEAT. I recently redid the door panels myself because there was some sun damage, and now there is only slight evidence of sun damage.

Exterior:
a few dings that can be banged out. The paint is visibly sun worn on the top of the car. I did not want to repaint it because someone could think that it had been in a serious accident.

Pictures before I fixed the doors and banged out the dents:

I'm located in Northern Virginia, but I'm flexible as to where the car can go. Give me a call if you're interested at 703-390-5592 or email me at hirschjx@jmu.edu.

Jack-O

PS This car needs to go as soon as possible so I can look for a more practical college car.
PPS If you want any more pictures of any specific parts, or if you'd like to see pictures of the redone door panels, let me know, I'll have them up within 24 hours.

i sold my 83 gsl , equipped the same as yours , 86,000 miles and it went for 2900.00...Your price is not too high but if you "have to sell" then you you may not get that price . It took me 7 weeks to sell mine. The right guy at the right time. My car was very nice all around. no rips in the leather, paint real good...tires fair. Put it in auto trader asap, get the car looking spiffy , have a for sale sign in it and good luck.....1500.00 is not too high!!....cjf
