82 Turbo project update (long)

Heres a update on my turbo swap.

I finished cleaning the engine bay, fixed some surface rust, and am FINALLY done cleaning off all the puke colored rust proofing. I had to scrape it off with a plastic Ice scraper, and then wipe away the rest with brake cleaner of wax remover. It ******* took 3 months to get the engine bay completely clean. I Painted the Brake Booster, front shroud, hard lines, and belly pan flat black. Everything in the engine bay and on the engine is being painted flat black or Silver.

91 Jspec TII Full Long block, everything included and a S4 turbo tranny should be here in a week or two.
I just received my Centerforce dual friction clutch and 13b-12a engine mount from Mazdatrix.

I test fitted the intercooler. FIt perfect, like it was ment to be there. Its from a 87 Volvo 850 turbo. 24X14X1.5 2.5 in pipes.

Any turbo guys have links to good threads on wiring the coils and halleffect into the haltech. I think I got it figured out but I dont want to **** it up.

Ill have pix on sunday. Getting Photo CDs are expensive. and I dont have any money now.

Why aren't you going to use the stock crank angle sensor?

Isnt the crank angle sensor a hall effect?

Its where the distributor would be right?

I dont have the engine yet so I cant look at it.

What im mainly wondering is what parts of the stock ignition is used.

The wires going to the old coils
The 3 wires going to the old distributor.

I am not using the stock Tach, I have a Autometer Ultralite tach that I will probably run off a pmw output from the Haltech.

Do I need to use any of thes wires or can I just hide them out of the way.

ALso, anyone know what pins on the wire harnes are for the alternator, maybe there in my haynes manual.

Thanks
