82 gsl rear end ?

just wondering if the 82 gsl has the same lsd rear end as the 83 - 85? someone had told me a while back that the axles are smaller or something. anyone know?

You've got it backwards. the axles for 84-85 are larger diameter and will not fit into a 80-83 housing.

I agree the 82-83 axles are smaller but they are also supposed to be stronger. I have an '83 rear end in my '85 GSL.

Did the 83 gsl have LSD? The 84-85 GSL had LSD and the disk brakes, although smaller then the SE, right?
