80' project for early christmas present

Hey. Im new here so yea...
I decided that i was sick of getting lame *** clothes and all that christmas B.s. for presents so i found a 1980 Rx-7 for $300. Its got some minor body rust in the rear and has some electrical problems. It wont start do to electrical problems (supposibly, which honestly i hope so cause thats not too hard to find out why.) Its baby blue, with the 12a motor. So yea i just thought i would introduce myself and see if there are any common electrical starting problems that might occur with these cars. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. Check out the faq page, archives and get used to the search button. There's a ton of no start threads out there, so you'll will most likely find your answers by searching. If you don't, post it here. Newbs are required to post pics of there new ride. Post them when you can. Check and make sure there is no rust behind the storage bins, wheel wells, everywhere. How much miles does it have? God bless

well, since its an 80, it wont have storage bins. you canb check the inner wheel well from the outside. look closely around the control arm mounts. and you should throw up some pics of your new present. its like teasing a child with a sucker... or teasing a cat with a can of tuna fish..you get my drift.
