79 SA Trans Crossmember Bushings

What are people doing to replace the bushings in the 79-80 cars in the tranny crossmember. I am ready to install my drivetrain but need these. Any thoughts? Thanks

Are you talking about the rubber isolators that go on the studs that attach the cross member to the body? Black Dragon sells them, page 112 of the most recent catalog on their site.

Wow that was expensive...87.34 for 4 pieces of rubber and four washers. But it will be nice to have the right parts

Yeah their prices can be kinda high. Did you check with a dealer? Sometimes they are actually better (sometimes...)

No I sure didn't...I'd rather support a company that is supporting us currently. I bought all the weatherstripping for my 85 years ago from BD...and although it was pricey it was right and that means a lot. I should install that stuff one day...

You think that's bad for rubber parts, I just spent a hundred on EFI rated fuel line and other bits for the baja. Figured it won't go bad like the carb rated stuff always does as soon as it sees gas, and then let it sit for any length of time.
