I am not sure if anybody out there has dropped a carbed 13b in a 1st gen. If you have I'd like to know some of the details involved, how hard it was,any tips, etc. Me and some friends are going to rebuild a 13b and put it in a '79 Rx-7 and make it an autocross car. Any tips on how to lighten the car up would be greatly appreicated also. thanks.

Its the most common Gen 1 transplant, relatively simply and a weekends work if you plan it out.

How its done and what you need for the transplant is already contained on many threads on this Forum. Use the Search box of this forum under 13b for the explanations. Also go to Felix the font of most things rotary at mrmazda.members.atlantic.net. His site is listed on the Vendors
