my clock is dodgey too. but whenever something goes abd with my car the clock is always working. Im not much of a superstitious persion but when that clock is going im sooo wary of the car.

Maybe i should unplug it so it never works, that way the car will be safe forever

I have seen a few SAs with dead clocks, tho none in the 3 or 4 I have had. Any 79-80 RX clock will work. They are actually really easy to swap out, tho it does require pulling the guage cluster - also very easy to do. I see complete 79-80 clusters on ebay all the time for $10 and up. Chances are go the clocks are all OK - plus it demos how to take the cluster apart before you muck around with your own
