79 brakes suck

so i finally got around to changing my front pads... just in the nick of time might i add.. and damn are the calipers a bitch.. first off someone painted them yellow.. which is gay,.... and i believe they are supposed to slide somewhat.. so that made it so it doesnt slide at all.. second who the hell designed the bottom caliper bolt? i had to unbolt the lower control arm so i could get at the damn bolt.. so anyways.. i just thought i would rant...

oh and i changed my fuel filter.. and damn what a difference.. i didnt believe everyone .. but i am a changed man.. everyone needs to go out and change that bad boy right now...

and i also added some lucas oil.... my car feels like new.. next week its plugs wires and new air filter..

lucas might have been a bad idea..

but yes, i also hate the hell out of that lower caliper bracket bolt.

i didn't have to remove anything..i managed to get them out, and when i did i shortened them a bit for easier access.

What kind of difference did you see when you changed the fuel fileter? I KNOW I need to change mine (and I will soon), but I was just qurious what difference you noticed. Do you think it would help with gas milage?

well first thing i noticed is it started up nicer and idled alot better.. seems to have more throttle response now also.. just more fluid or movement.. no more sputtering. and its like a 2 second change out... so go do it tomorrow... the filter is like $2
