79 brake drums on an 81?

As stated in title, will 79 brake drums fit an 81? Thanks

mazda list the 79-80 drums and 81-85 drums as seperate parts so i am going to say no.

The 79-80 uses a different brake shoe and drum, than the 81-85. They are very close, but not quite the same size.
That said, the drum *may* fit, but I wouldn't advise using it.
