48ida or 44idf

i was wondering what best for a stockport and streetport 12a is it a 48ida or 44idf.

also where can i get a 12a 44idf manifold is it the same manifold as for a 48ida

Don't bother with an IDF as they're too small. 48IDA will work on anything from a stock port to pp as you can change the venturis. And yeah the manifolds are different as well.

I have heard people using IDF's, but only on turbocharged cars.

IDA is the way to go N/A.

Yes, as bean said, go with the IDA, Its going to cost some money to set it up for what you want, you will probably have to change all the main jets (4) @ $5 a piece. possibly new emulsion tubes (2) @ about $20 and mabe chokes (2) at $20. always good to put a new needle and seat in too. Depends on if you can find one that has already been set up for a mazda. Good luck and if you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.
