3rd member.

I found someone who is willing to sell me the 3rd member for my SE, but he doesn't know what year it is or what model RX-7 it came out of. Are there any numbers either on the 3rd member or the rear itself that will allow me to identify where it came from, etc?

Also, I remember some of you saying that the 84-85, non-SE, limited slip, big axle rears are the same ans swap over perfectly. If this is true, then how does the gear ratio differ? Is that the same as well?

SE will only fit 84-85 big axle rear assemblies. The 84-85 GSL had a 3.90 rear gear ratio and the SE had a 4.11 gear ratio. Word has it that they are interchangable between SE and the GSL but anything else is not LSD.

Thanks AWS 140. I guess that is the easiest and best way. Why didn't I think of that? Dah!
