3rd Gen Bumper on a 1st gen??

I know someone on the forum is currently in the process of doing this to their FB, but has anyone else tried this? How hard is it? The reason I am asking is b/c some uneducated gomer just backed into the front of my car and is going to pay to have it fixed. Do you guys think this is worth doing, or will it cost too much money?

Thanks

Ryan

I say give him an outrageous cost for the repairs and then fixe it yourself for next to nothing, then use the rest of the money for the rest of the car LOL

ya, the only thing is, I don't want the insurance company, if he goes that route, to total the car out and only give me what the fair market value of the car is.

Then you sue for all repairs to be paid as you were not liable for what happened. I mean just give him a bill from yourself LOL

Your car looks better, imho, with the Mariah front, it can be repaired or replaced.

IIRC, the guy that was doing a 3rd gen front end conversion ran into major problems with a massive amount of wheel to fender gap. Not sure if anything came of this, but it was fairly recently. Unfortunatly I can't remember his forum name. But IMO, the 1st gen front end is tha shiznit. Best looking out of all gens. Has the purest sports car looks.

EDIT: Ok, found the thread about 8 pages back. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...9&page=1&pp=15
Its BLOWNandTWISTED thats doing the conversion.
