2nd Gen Seats into a 1st Gen

Found some nice leather seats from a 2nd gen Convertable (1989). Want to put them in my 83 LE when I drop the new engine in her. They are nice, and the color will go well with the stock interior. I especially like the headrest speakers, since I can hear the radio when tearing down the highway with the sunroof off and windows open. :0)

How hard is it to put these into the 1st gen car?

They'll fit - do a search... there's a ton of info on swapping FC and FD seats.

Good luck!

Passenger seat will bolt right in. The front right bracket for the driver's seat will need a little modification..... I did mine with a dremel, took about 2 minutes...

Ended up with Hon-Duh seats (1990 Acura Integra, actually) seats.

Will search and see what others have done to make these fit, and when I get them mounted I'll post results!

I have grey cloth turbo II seats in my GSL-SE. Very comfy, nice high bolsters, and you don't slip around at all in them. If you're a bit tall, they drop you about 1-2" towards the floor from the original leather seats.
