2nd gen N/A vs TII

Ok, I need to swap over to a manual tranny. This auto is killing me BAD.

I have a free n/a tranny out of a 2nd gen. Includes the clutch, flywheel and everything else I should need.

So, my questions:

Bolt up is the same as the tII correct?
I will need to have a custom driveshaft built right?
I can still bolt the guy up to my 12a at the moment while I build up the 13b right? (I got the entire drivetrain. Engine is blown)

Correct.

I'm not 100% shure about the drive shaft though (I think you can use the stocker)

So, I can use the automatic drive shaft with a standard 2nd gen n/a tranny?

If so, you have just made my day sir.

The TII and 2nd gen auto driveshafts have the same spline size and tooth count. All na manuals, FB/FC are the same size and count. They do not interchange between the 2 groups. I am not sure about the FB auto.

Not sure why you are asking about the TII, since you say you have an na setup.

Wait until everything is in it's final place before having the driveshaft made.

Because there are several TII writeups that I can compare aginst.

Of course, I won't have anything made if I can use my auto FB driveshaft. BUT, nothing will be made untill the tranny is in, and everything figured out correctly.

Hrm, if a Auto FB driveshaft mounts to a Standard FC tranny, this might be quite a cheap swap over.
