Yes "bolts right up". It should be ok but no 7500rpm launches

The tranny will bolt up to the engine, but you must make a few changes to the flywheel/clutch package.
First off,you cant use the TII flywheel. The clutch disc diameter/spline count and ring gear are wrong for the FB starter and trans input shaft. You must use an A/T rear counterweight appropriate for the TII engine(S4 or S5),then use an aftermarket GSL-SE light flywheel and clutch to send power to the tranny input. The smaller SE clutch wont like the extra torque and the TypeM tranny is unlikely to handle the torque for long. They are marginal for use behind 135lbft N/A engines, unless taken care of...let alone the 200+lbft that the TII engines can make with ease.

The installation of a TypeR, TII tranny is nothing in comparison with dropping in and setting up a TII engine in a 1st gen.Save the cost and do it right the first time. The TII tranny will handle 400lbft with no problems and you wont have to upgrade later. The SE light flywheel and clutch you buy for the N/A tranny will be useless when you put the better trans in later, after the N/A box goes south.(which could be a very short time, turbo power is addicting)
