your using a t3 turbo so 2-1/2" exhaust will work fine.. thos means you could use the racingbeat streetport muffler, as its 2-1/2" at the muffler

they do have a universal 3rd gen muffler(it dosnt have the piping attached) call them up and ask for it, i dont think its listed on thier website. its cheap and will allow you to run 3" exhaust

Neither 2nd nor 3rd gen exhaust systems will fit on a 1st gen. 2 main reasons are fuel tank configuration and the change from solid live axle to independent rear suspension. Follow Robert's pipe size recommendations. Many 2nd/3rd gen turbo owners like the Borla XS/XR series mufflers as a pre-silencer.

The ones I've heard have an excellent exhaust note and will handle the heat of a turbo.

I am using a universal pre-silencer from racing beat with a 3" in/out and a 3rd gen muffler also a racing beat. 3" down pipe and custom piping. Is nice and mellow when cruising and opens up pretty good when I am on the throttle.
