BC 2gcdfis with 2 leading ignitors, can it be done?

I've been reading about direct ignition on our cars and I was wondering if it would be possible to create a direct fire system using a second leading ignitor and the FC coil (like 2gcdfis but with 2 leading ignitors instead of one). Will this be any better thad 2gcdfis? The reason I'm asking is because I've got 2 spare ignitors and access to a 2nd gen coil for pretty cheap and thought it might work though I'm electricity is not my forte. Any feedback is appreciated even if it's just to say it'll never work dumb*ss

thanks for the reply, I was hoping it would work as well as 2gcdfis with the added bonus of extending the ignitor life by splitting the load between the 2 ignitors

Search for "transistor trick" and be prepared for lots of reading.

If you have questions, let me know. It is better than 2GCDFIS. You do need a simple circuit to interface between the 1st gen stuff and the 2nd gen stuff, though.

This doesn't use 2 1st gen ignitors for leading, but uses the stock 1st gen leading to trigger the 2nd gen ignitor (it is in the 2nd gen pack). The 2nd gen ignitor is much better than ours.

Thanks for the advice Gsl-Se addict, I've read about the transistor trick, and that's probably what I'd end up doing. I just thought since I've two spare ignitors I might as well do something with them. On an related note, did you figure out how to overcome the heating issues?, and are you still selling the TT box as a kit?
