Hey all,,I got an 1986 rx-7 for free but it's F,U,B,A,R, so i salvaged
what i could,i was able to save the clerion (mazda)stereo,am/fm
tape deck,and 10 band EQ,with speakers.all of it,in my 1982 GS
it has a clerion(mazda)push button stereo,am/fm,tape deck,Does
anybody know if the 86 will work with the 82 ?? the plugs,and
the Dins,i would like to use it,it's way better then whats in there.
any input would be great,,,thanks

 

best thing to do is give it a try, although it looks really close to the 84-85 deck. It will probably work with that year other than the 1982. Give it a try, good luck. Clarion and other brand seem to keep a certain format for there plugs. I can tell pioneer a mile away cuz they keep it the same. So you might be lucky, if not clarion customer service has all the diagrams.... I got the diagrams for the amplifiers. It tells me what ever wire in each plug is. I got it free of charge, the just get you a photocopy.
