That explosion had power to it. Its like a small bomb went off in the engine bay. Sounds like the whole thing seized up afterward too.

I would do it in a heartbeat!!! assuming I had the money. I just wouldn't put a fat blower on it like that.

yeah they said the fuel was leaking a little bit and then the blower backfired.

Yikes on that! And I thought I had a lot of power with a 12a with a turbo! PLEASE folks, be careful to not under build your supercharged 20b's when you put them in a FB!!!!! PLEASE, and then give up 6.5second 1/4mile runs everytime.

Awesome car...well it was. Total shame to see a fb blow up! Did the car run anytimes before it exploded? Id love to know what it ran the 1/4 in!

From what I read last night, the actual motor is fine, It was the intake and various peices of sheet metal that are all screwed up. According to the owner, the driver was modullating the throttle which caused fuel to get backed up in the intake and when it backfired, BOOM!!!!
