200hp at the wheels

does anyone know if i can get a 12a up to 200 hp at the wheels without porting my engine, just simpler mods like carb, exhaust, etc? i wanna try to just upgrade stock parts, also if anyone knows what type of exhaust would help the most for hp, and sound mean as hell please help me out....

ok...first off...no...since a stock port 12a is only gonna put out 105hp...you arnt gonna double the output with bolt-ons...you gotta port or turbo...but you can get about 140-150rwhp with bolt-ons...starting with a full free flowing exaust, then moving to the carburetor and intake...that is where you are gonna get major power gains.

Sure, if you turn the '1' on the dyno sheet into a '2'

With just bolt on mods including carb, header, exhaust, muffler and delition of anti pollution gear the maximum you will get is about 150hp at the flywheel say 120 at the wheels.

Going turbo will give more power but less life. With a mega turbo you might get near 170rwhp for a short time until the engine breaks up under high boost.
