2 questions.
1st question;
The fuel sending unit no longer works in my -SE, and it gets really annoyhing always having to have a jerry can. I went to a shop to get it priced, and i was told 800 because i have to get a fuel pump aswell. Now im wondering is there a way to fix it without replacing the fuel pump?
2nd question:
I plan on switiching over to a TII power train next winter, and i was wondering, instead of going front mount, i kind of wanted to go vmount, Im just wondering if theres a way to get it to fit. I've never seen any pics of it, or even heard of it.
Thanks for your help.

Hey, interesting to see you on here after nexus...
As far as the sending unit goes, why would they need to replace the fuel pump at the same time? If I remember correctly the sending unit is located by the filler neck, and the old ones are near impossible to get off (at least mine was, sooooo rusted). Maybe a aftermarket sending unit and gauge would be a easier solution?
For your second question, yes you can go V-mount it is just more expensive and harder to do. But if you have awesome welding and fabrication skills, by all means, the skys the limit!

Time to find a new shop that knows what they are doing, besides grand theft. New sending unit from Mazdatrix is a bit over 100 bucks, don't know how bad they will hurt you on import fees.
Btw, the fuel pump mounts to the body, they don't even need to touch it to change the sender.
