2 Questions 1 Thread: Car cover and underbody shots
Does any one know who makes a first gen car cover? I know you can get universals
but those look horrible, plus you can't follow the gorgeous car curves. Does BD sell
them or anything? I have older VB catalogs
And 2nd question, anyone have underbody shots of the FB/SA's?

Stu I bought a Covercraft Weathershield 3 yrs ago - it is both expensive ($260-ish then) AND fabulous. I would buy another in a heartbeat. Super light weight (meaning easy to wash in HOME washer, not like regular covers requiring a commercial washer to clean); completely weather proof (covers mine all winter - in ALASKA, OUT doors!) and so far no ill effects from UV. Its a form-fitting made-for-RX7 cover; quick-on, quick-off. no drama. small enough to throw easily into bag and into the back hatch. Car come out looking _exactly_ like it did when I thru on the cover the previous fall (7 months!!). I use it _daily_ in the summer to keep sun and dust of my Baby.
As a comparison I bought a "normal" (also covercraft) mid-range one for my 86 Saab 9000. Same age as RX7 cover, but $130. Its about ready to fall apart now...really just disintegrating at the seams, everywhere. Its bulky and I have to use a commercial washer at a laundromat to clean it as its waaay to big for a home machine. Will be buying a weathershield as its replacement too.
You get what you pay for. $130-ish every 3 yrs. $250-300 and....?? keeps on tickin'

If you want an indoor only cover, look at California Car cover. http://www.calcarcover.com
I've got a custom weave which is streachy and form fitting. It's very plush but pricy.

There are a lot companies that make custom FB car covers.
