Crap, twin-engine, each mated to a transmission, I don't know how, but I'd make it work.. somehow.. each connected to the driveshaft via a limited slip diff, then the driveshaft driving the wheels through its own limited slip. Yeah.

...94% correct.
12a custom turbo setup. High strung, small turbo, want a max of 250rwhp. Slight widebody...not the monsters youusually see...I want 6-8" wider track, with a real widebody covering the tires...not flares. A few other things...
I'd rather spend $5000 on my MKIII and have a 1jz-GTE powered badass autoX supe...not many of those.

Hmmm. 26B I can't help but ponder... I've been thinking a *LOT* about it, and I think it could be made with a lot narrower intermediate housings than normal. If... y'know... you say to hell with side ports. That's waiting for an FD though. Well, either that or for me to get more bits for our fancy new (to us) Bridgeport mill and start attacking pieces of metal with it.
Just FYI snmc, the Renesis *is* compatible with old 13B stuff; Mazdatrix tried the new rotors in the old housings.
Okay, what I'm doing for 20K. 2nd gen front subframe swap (Turbo or any other model with the 4-pot calipers) with an EFI pport 13B (Renesis rotors for the extra compression) backed by a Guru dogbox, going to a narrowed Ford 8.8 rear end hung from a G-Force engineering type tri-link / panhard bar. Well, or some sort of beefier rear end; I'm probably going to find out on my own if the stock GSL rear end will stand up to a pport with how I drive. A little moving around of stuff to get 245s out back but no goddamn fender flares or widebody crap. 205/50/15 up front and 245/45/16 out back should be enough rubber. Of course the obvious stuff like spherical bearings, coilovers (though probably in back too for clearance) new springs and shocks, Hawk HP+ pads, stainless brake lines and no AC or power steering...
Hmmm. Interior. 4-point rollbar, Sparco Fighter seats with 5 point harnesses... and. Custom fuel cell taking the place of the stock storage bins for weight distribution, routed for a remote fill to the stock location and sealed off from the passenger compartment with sheetmetal. And probably some sort of stereo, though maybe not. Pport might be music enough.
... of course, this is actually what I'm working towards (minus the Guru box and a few other pricey bits) though I hope to do it for considerably less than 20k.

Hmmm, 20k to spend on my FB? or 20k to spend to make a dream come true...bcuz i would probably take 5k to make my fb perfect...and the other 14k to buy 5 more FB's! The final thousand bucks i would use 500 to buy a beater so i wouldnt have to drive any of my FB's when the weather is crappy, and the last 500 i would use to buy an AK-47 and random weapons of car destruction to destroy this rice boy civic's car after I smoke him(He's been talking trash on rotarys and keeps saying he'll smoke me when i finish my swap and we race).
But thats just in my dreams...
But thats just in my dreams...

20B supercharged, streetport, cold air intake, 02 intake cooler, 16" black racing wheels with silver lip (at least 10 inch wide tires) mild fender flares, large whale tail, roll cage, air fuel gaudge, carbon fiber hood, nice charcoall paintjob, clear lenses, hid lamps, built in radar jammer, oh yeah and a wife who didn't clutch the seat every time i come off a stop light and scream at me when the light turns red or the traffic up ahead slows down a bit.....a man can dream.

hmmm....20k.......
1) put the independent rear suspension from a 2nd gen, along with the single-to-dual exhaust.
2) make it AWD (front and rear LSD or Posi).
3) I would say 26B, but would it be able to fit in the bay of an FB, 20Bs barely seem to fit.
4) jackknife doors
5) twin turbo setup, maybe t4's, with a 26b, couldnt that be like a quad-turbo, if set up correctly?
6) new paint job
7) sleepy-eyed front lamp setup
8) I think I am outta cash but maybe a new interior with Cobra racing seats, Roll bar, and 1 of those navi systems, I hate getting lost, and at the speeds of that car it'd be easy to miss your exit.
Now, if it was unlimited cash, **** rebuilding an old car, I'd get a CNC machine (seeing as I know how to program them) and make that car listed above, completely new from scratch.

P.S. Theres a prototype machine that they are working on, in the wrong hands, or in our case the right hands, we would be able to turn a leaf into a stick of plutonium, and with the leaves infront of my house thered be plenty to share hehe.
how do I attached file as just proof to those who say I can't program a CNC, its not the same program language but its pretty close.

Screw the flux capacitor.
Mount 5-10 surplus JATO or RATO units in the rear hatch. That'll get you negative numbers in the 1/4 mi !!

My dream first gen would be very close to what my car is now, but with waaaayyyy more power.
Let's say either FD engine, or even better: let's go 20B, throw in the TII gearbox, and I guess a stronger diff might be a good thing to invest some money in aswell...
Obviously a standalone ECU (Haltech, Wolf...???) and a capable fuel system are a must (Aeromotive fuel pump, Speedflow hoses), as are a lot of polished parts and bits.
A nice front mount IC, big turbo, and custom cooling system would be the finishing touch under the hood.
The hood itself must become a custom part aswell, of course... Suspension wise, coil-overs might be a good idea. And a rack and pinion conversion. Although all that stuff would be illegal overhere, so I'll need a UK license plate aswell.
Inside I'd only add a sound system (nothing big, just something to listen to at cruising speed), as the custo made interior I have in right now is just what I wanted anyway...
But since I haven't got 20.000 dollars to spend, I'll be happy enough if I can get a street port 12A together by the end of the winter, and slam on that Elford turbo kit I have laying around. Won't make over 170hp, but well, it'll do for a while...

crome out the engine and anything metal, leather up the inside and a fresh coat of paint. no engine mods.
just let it be pretty, then i would have the sleeper car with the 454 or 4 rotor under the hood with 5 mufflers so no one knows whats comming then boom!
gone.

First, I would get a new body kit, which would be the same that I have now.
Second, I would put the car in the paint shop to get all the little rust spots fixed. Then, it would be repainted the current color.
Third, I'd find a Cosmo engine and drop that into the 7. Maybe get some new turbo's and bump up the boost a little. I don't want a widebody, but I want to still be able to maintain some traction. Heh. I would shoot for about 300 rwhp.
Fourth, all new suspension. I want power, but I want to be able to handle. I'd much rather be able to turn and go fast, then go fast and push off the side of the highway in the middle of the turn. Get some new brakes while I'm at it.
Fifth, I would get all new carpet in the car and I would get most of the "leather" interior redone considering it is cracked up in several places. New momo steering wheel. Also, I have to have a really nice stereo.
I don't know if I have anymore cash, but if I have enough, I would love to get a custom sequential gearbox with reverse (if they don't have reverse already). Man, that would be awesome.
Oh yeah, I would get my wheels sand blasted and refinished in the same color they are now.

One of my dream vehicles:
Cosmo sport 110, acid dipped, seam welded. then custom 10a based 4 rotor PP with Aluminum side plates so it would be an all aluminum block. I would shave the MFR 12a housings to 10a and then get anMFR drysump to mount the block lower in the car. with 2 weber IDA's for simplicity should be good for 400hp. Neat little old skool 13 inch wheels, slammed to like an inch and a half off the ground. weight 1700-1800.
