1st Generation Steel Wheels

Anyone have a set of Steel Wheels with caps that they'd want to get rid of? See picture. Thanks.

There are junkyards full of GLC's and 626's and the like with the steel wheels and a 4x110 bolt pattern. Do you want the specific Rx-7 steel wheel? If not I would hit the junkyard with an old axle or a ruler and snag me some cheap.

Just my $.02

I am looking for the specific RX-7 Steel Wheels found on the pre-84 models. The picture that I have listed above is of an '83. I've looked at some local junkyards, but they seem to not have any around. They do have the 'Plus' style wheels, but I'm more interested in the Steel. Does anyone have a set they'd like to sell?

How much are you willing to spend. I can go to a junkyard here and get you a set and mail them to ya but it will probably cost more than its worth!

I know where an 81-83 is with a set, but I'd have to buy the whole car to get them. I don't have anywhere to put it either.

I'd spend at most $30 on a set; I don't necessarily need them THAT badly. 82TransAm,

Well, if you're familiar with the 79-80 Honeycomb wheels, I got 4 of those in near excellent shape for $30, and they don't rust. I take it that any steel wheel I'd find would be at least somewhat rusty. Mind you, I'm not looking for a wheel in mint condition, but rather something that I can fix up myself. I would imagine that the shipping would be around $30-50 for the set also. Maybe I'll get lucky at the junkyards. I understand if you don't want to let these go at that price. I do want you to know that I appreciate your replies and all the help that I have received from the members of this forum.
