1st gen TACH 2nd gen coils

Does anybody know if I can hook the tach output from the 2nd gen coil to the tach wire on the 1st gen or will it not work or damage somthing? If it does not work where should I tie the tach wire on the first gen to get it to work with the 2nd gen coils?

Thanks
Ryan W

You can hook the tach wire up to the negative of the coil as you would normally. The fact that it's from a second gen doesn't make any difference.
