my '84 rx-7 is in deperate need of turbocharging, im looking for info regarding a setup that will give me a good mix of reliability and ponies, i hear alot of guys use the turbo out of turboII, are the benefits of going for an aftermarket turbo like a T 404e over the turboII going to outweigh the cost?

in a gsl-se, you will want to do a TII swap. It is not worth messing around with the 6 port block of a gsl-se IMO. Though i've never tried it.

I'm searching far and wide for a 1984 or 85 GSL-SE...anyone that finds one, could you let me know? That'd be great. Oh...and just to let you people know, I'm new to this forum and I don't even have an RX-7 yet...so that's why i'm looking so hard for one. GSL-SE...spot one, scream in my ear. thanks!

I just got an '85 GSL-SE about 2-3 weeks ago. I love it and will be making mods as soon as possible. But your gonna have real a hard time finding an '85 GSL-SE. The '85 is one of the more rare versions of the GSL-SE.

If you look hard enough its not that rare... but rare enough where people can't find them easy.... Through out owning my GSL-SE... I've only seen 4 other GSL-SE.... 2 on the streets and 2 on a RX-7 club meet... and 4 on the yard....3 84's and 1 85 on the junkyard... the 85 is nice... cuz its newer in a sense... but I think they're the same...

I hate you JeriJ.

I'll never get a GSL-SE, unless I feel like paying $3995 for a stock, high milage one in town.

Unless, some jerk wants to donate one of their extra ones that's just sitting around...
