1st Gen GSL-SE 14" Tires

My 84 GSL-SE came with 205/60-14 Tires. Since nobody makes that size anymore, what size can I get for my OEM 14' wheels?

First off, welcome aboard!

On your tire selection for a GSL-SE, your car's stock wheels are 14x5.5" width - so these will fit anywhere from 195 to 215 tire widths. Given the somewhat narrow dimension (5.5" wide) of the wheel, you should check with your local tire shop, as they may be able to order something for you in the stock 205/60 sizing. It may not be a performance tire, but it will get you down the road safely.

Many of us have upgraded our wheels to 15-16" in order to have access to better quality performance tires than we can get in 14", which are usually limited to passenger car tires. Good luck, and post back with what you found, as I'm sure others are looking for 14" tires to keep their cars close to original as well.

Hey,

I have used 185/55r14 and right now I am currently using 195/60r14. I have some Falken Azenis coming in the mail in size 195/60r14 ive been wating to give them a try. Both size ride and feel good, Federal tires have some tires available in size 205/60r14 if you want to give them a try.

I have a set of federal tires,205/60/14, on my stock rims. Great looking tire that works well for normal driving/ cruising. I only use the stock rims for shows n such. I use a 15 inch rim for performance tires, much better selection
