1985 RX7 wont start after over heating help!!!

I just bought my 1985 RX7 gs. I was driving it and a 20 year old coolent hose blew connecting to the oil cooler and filter. After replaceing the hose I drove it home and no problems. In the morning it was hard to start and while driveing to work it started overheating agin and now it wont start. I dont know whats wrong with it but the guy that sold it to me told me it had a week fuel pump it that will help any. If you have any Ideah whats wrong with it you can email me @ kayakjayw@aol.com. Thanks
Jay

The '85 shop manual calls the tank on the passenger side mentioned above a "sub-zero starting assist" fluid tank... I assume that means below 0 degrees Farenheit.

you may want to make sure you filled the coolant all the way, and don't just put it in the reservoir, fill the radiator. Once the fluid reaches the top, squeeze the hose that is connected between the thermostat housing on top of the motor and the top of the radiator to get the air bubbles out. repeat until you see no more air bubbles.

to diagnose if your fuel pump is dead, take the air filter assembly off the carburetor. Pull the fuel line off the right side of the carb. Get a shop towel or something and set the line on it to absorb the fuel that will be coming out of it.
**Warning** Make sure the engine is cold while doing this**
Before turning the key on, make sure you place the fuel line and towel in a place where you can see the fuel coming out of it.
Now turn the ignition switch on for a second or two and observe how much fuel is coming out. If there is good flow, your fuel pump is fine. If it is a very small trickle, you may have a clogged fuel filter or a faulty pump, start with replacing the filter and repeat the test.

I researched a little more and I found that it might just be badly flooded, someone also told me I might have a warped rotor houseing but Ive gotten it started recently but not for long. The smokeing is still unexplaied tho.
