1985 Front spindle

Quick question for anybody who might have an answer. Does an 83 and 85 share the same front spindle? While I was doing suspension work and decided to repack the bearings and found out that on one side they were using 83 rotor which of course uses a different outer race and bearing but share the same inner. Am I able to throw an 85 rotor onto that spindle or will I have to get a new strut Tower?

the 84-85 spindle is larger and uses larger bearings than the earlier ones. axle shafts are also larger.

As stated above, 84 and 85 are stand alone years and have the larger bearing spindles. You have to use the correct rotors and bearings for the 84-85. My advice would be to use the correct parts for the year you have and not try and mix match parts.
