Hey, i have a 1984 GSL SE rx7 and last year i had the exaust replaced after replacing the enigne. The 5th and 6th ports no longer work and i am curious on how to make them work again. I looked on the website and saw a report for a second gen. It said to tap into the air pump because it had excess pressure. Will this work on a first gen RX7? with a 13b?

yep. the 6 ports open with pressure, the air pump has pressure, as does the exhaust
