Input rims into the search engine and prepared to be deluged with opinions and facts....there are some out there allegedly running 18" X 7" rims with custom offsets......a 19 or 20 should also be possible if you're loaded with coin....

UchihaBLUNT - what ever wheel you find, make sure its 4x110 bolt pattern. Good luck. Check Panasport Wheels, they are nice.

I just put 17" x 7 rims and low profiles (40mm) on mine recently not a problem (83 model rx7) Have kept suspension standard but when I lower it I will have to think about flaring guards(especially front) Hasn't hit my guards yet. This Rim and Tyre setup has same overall height as standard 13" rim and tryes (so it didn't throw out speedo) It has same 4X110mm stud pattern. Can send you photos if you want. I also heard that Ford Escort rims will fit (don't know if this is true) I had to get these mags custom made as the mags to select from were limited.

You have to slot the holes ever so slightly... like maybe only a milimetre all around. It's a pain in the *** because when you put the wheel up to the hub and use the standard (stupid) lug bolts, you have to spin the wheel before you tighten them up to make sure it's centred.

I had a set of US800 chromies on my S2 years ago that were off a MK2 Escort originally.

if you go here http://www.wheelswest.ca/search.htm hit the click here for wheel search a page will come up and at the top look for mazda and rx7 you can find rims for rx7s there are many rims there to pick from but it is hard to find rims for the rx7s on there. the biggest size rim you can put on the rx7 is 18". but there are rims on there that will fit.
