+1?

But my wild guess is that it has something to do with the thermal reactor seeing how the SA don't have Catalytic converters but I've never seen that pipe before on other SA that I have looked at.

I did some reading and that pipe is suposed to be there for the thermal reactor. Thats a fantastic 7, now lets keep it nice and shinny forever...lol

thats fine, shifting at 2K is ok. when i drive my SA, i'll redline it at least once during the drive. shifting between 3-4K is good and still keeps the engine well below the redline while maintaining smooth acceleration.

no, you're fine . the rotary loves to rev. you just can't hold the engine past 6K for peiods of time or the apex seals can start to chatter and can leave chatter marks on your housings. bad news bears. does your redline buzzer work? if it does you'll surely know what i'm talking about. my SA's buzzer hasnt worked since i've had it.

it should go off about 7K. i'm not sure how to fix the buzzer. i do know that it was standard on the rx-7 since the first example rolled off the assembly line. i made s post about it awhile ago. search "redline buzzer" and see if anything comes up. like i said, i dont remember how to mess with the buzzer on the SA and i dont want to give you any wrong info.

it never hurts to run the car nice and easy. as long as you arent' constantly beating on the car and that you are keeping up on the maitnenace and overall personal inspections, your SA will last for a long time.
