Considering a 1979 project. I want it to be worth the effort. Anything specific I should look at/worry about?

 

its a project so it depends on how big you want the project to be and how much you want to pay. to see mine go to www.blackcraftengineering.com and the rx7 link in the menu. compression check if you can. does the car run, idle good? does it have any replacement things, shocks, alternator, etc. how bad are the bushings, suspension and steering. interior and exterior good? how bad is rust. are the tires out of 1980 like mine were?

make sure and do the atf treatment to the engine. run a search on atf in the first gen section.
