"Y'all ride 18's. We ride 26's. Big trucks. Big wheels. Rollin' over bitches."

Rico, doesn't that large rear window shade type thing defeat the purpose of the rear spoiler?

No problem at all.

Oh, and while you're here... Have you had a chance to look at the thread where the RotaFlo mufflers were talked about? I think quite a few people were interested in what you were proposing (myself included), if you don't want to go after the thread, please shoot me a PM.

18" looks rediculous IMO. 17" is even too big unless you have the right wheel. For me, 16" is the max. An RX-7 is a small car, and to have large wheels on it will throw out the nice proportions of the car.

I have 15's on my car right now with 50 series rubber. I just need to lower her a bit more.

Most cities do not have smooth enough roads to run 16/17/18 inch wheels with the 45/40/35 series tires. Potholes will destroy the lips on these wheels pretty quickly.
Besides, most 16" and larger wheels are heavier than the 15" and smaller. This can affect the overall performance of any car, but is far more pronounced on a lower HP car.
Those reasons alone are enough to make me shy away from the 16" and larger wheels on a car this size. The fact that I don't really care for the look just adds to it.
However, it is not my car, and I'm not the one who has to like the way it looks/drives/performs.
