15x7 with 38mm offset?

After searching and reading endless threads I still need clarification if a 15x7 wheel with a 38mm offset will fit my car. Its actually an 85 base with the SE front brakes and GSL rear with the SE bolt pattern adapter. Can someone please clarify this so I can order my wheels?

Thanks, Ed

That might hit the shock. You can run up to 12mm offset so go more towards that direction.

After searching, I read some people running 40mm offsets w/out issues so the 38mm should fit?

Thanks, Ed
