147,000 Mile Tune-up

I am the original owner of a 1983 RX-7 GS. It runs "ok" but far from great speed. Anyone know a reputable & honest rotory mechanic in Kansas City area? Also, any quick fixes to restore the zoom, zoom in this prized possession?

dalemills welcome to the rx7club.com!

Have you checked with the local Kansas City RX-7 Club?
I know many of the members and I'm pretty sure they know of a few "reputable & honest rotory mechanic".

Dave here in Topeka. I know that you are a ways away. Probably an hour drive. But there is a mechanic just south of Topeka that is very, very good. He is a Mazda Factory trained mechanic, and his rates are so low it's obscene. He knows Mazdas. You should check with the guys in the KC club.
Also, check the forum http://www.mazspeed.com/, very good technical help available there.
hope this helps,
dave

I didn't know the Kansas City area had an RX-7 Club. Anyone have contact info?
