I was thinking of the (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...=1&RunFlat=All)

but I dont know if I can get them to stretch over a 13X8 rim.. Tirerack puts 7.5 as the largest width.

my question is.. did anyone try this before because I don't really want to spend 170/each for the 225's

Are you looking for street tires or racing tires?

For the street the Sumitomo's will work fine, but if you are autocrossing the 710 are great. They do not last long as track tires, but are truly great for autocrossing.
