13x7 wheels and tires
Alright everybody, I've searched and searched. I have four 13x7 Hayashi Racing Wheels that my buddy got me. I need new tires and was headed towards the Sumitomo HTR 200s. I know many of you guys run these whether its the 205/60/13s or the 215/50/13s with no problems. I was wondering If these Sumitomo tires would have the stretched tire look since theese wheels are 1.5" wider than the + Mazda wheels.
I can't get traction through 1st and most of 2nd gear. I need traction and was wondering If I should go with the Sumitomo 215/50/13s in the back and the 205/60/13 in front or all of the same? I'm not worried about rubbing cause most you guys said you don't have any issues with them. I'm mostly wondering about if they will look strecthced and the sizes? My buddy said I should get 225/55/13s in the rear and something else up front. The sizes he suggested seem really hard to find. Any other tire suggestions too would be great. Sorry for the book. lol. Just trying to give you all the info

Actually his name is Scott. And I'm running 185's on my stock wheels and they fit pretty much perfectly. They don't bulge out and they don't look like they're stretching out, so 215 should fit nicely.

The amount of traction you get depends on how much power your putting down. Just the added contact patch of a wider wheel should help a ton with that, plus adding some stickier rubber will probably solve your problems.
