13B Turbo Deal or Dud?

a second generation(fc) rx7..this motor was built late last year. it has about 800 miles on it. i couldn't get it to tune and my engine tuner said he thought it may be out of balance. it pulls good compression numbers, just didn't idle smooth but makes good horsepower. all the seals are brand new. ceramic coated front cover.

s6 housings
s5 ported irons
s4 na rotors

300$ obo. cheaper than the price of the seals in the motor

So is this worth the money? What your opinion?

Are you asking if you should buy it? My first question is why the S4 rotors of all things. 2nd question is what intake system is it running since S6 secondary intake ports are so much higher up than all the earlier 13Bs. My inclination would be to buy it, tear it down and go with all S5 parts. rotors, irons, flywheel, counter weight and intake system. Then tuning won't be a problem.

My first response is buyer beware!

Why would someone sell a "Rebuilt" engine for that money unless there is something seriously wrong with it or it was just thrown together?

Yeah...

I would expect to pay that much for a nicely setup blown engine...

i thought s6 housings wouldn't work with prior gen irons?
