13B (TII) carbed help, strange question

Hey guys,
I need some help here. First some background...

Need to get the car mobile to take it to some shops etc. It has an 87 TII engine,no EFI, etc. and absolutely no time to sort out wiring harness, sensors, ECU, etc. so I bought a 13B Nikki carb and manifold, and will use an adapter plate to mount it to the TII engine (already have this).

I have a GSL-SE oil pan and 1st gen front cover, low pressure FPR, pump, etc. What I don't have is the 1st gen distributor and coils + whatever else is needed.

Fortunately, I do have some FC coils and an FC distributor. Can I use these instead of the 1st gen stuff? I really only need to drive the car a couple of blocks for maybe a week, not every day. I will most likely premix during this time also.

Anyone who can instruct me on how to hook up the FC stuff to work with the carb, I would greatly appreciate it!

Again, this is totally temporary to get the car mobile. Then it will go up on jack stands while the motor is rebuilt.

You will need a 1st gen dizzy, no way around that. You can use the 2nd gen leading coil, there is a writeup in the FAQs. That will get you a few blocks.

Thanks,
I'll look into getting one right away. I saw some DLIFDIS or whatever stuff on this site too, looks like that's the route I'll be taking to use the FC coils.
