Was it hard to install the second gen FMOC?

I got the pedastal and oil cooler of a GSL-SE, kinda bent up, but I'm sure I can make it work. I take it's an easy installation?

Nice work. So, have you determined if it is leaking coolant? Do you not run an air filter?

SUPER easy. Theres a bunch of write ups on it. Some guys say you need to extend the oil lines, I however did not. I just used 2 1 7/8" muffler clamps to tie it to the front cross bar in front of the radiator. Use some angle aluminum to bolt the cooler to the clamps and its all done

No coolant has been burned as of yet. Looks like out guess of the air to water intercooler was correct. Everything is just fine except the lack of a full tune just yet.

Well it made it to our local Cars and Cafe show yesterday morning. Lots of cars, from VWs to Lambos and everything in between. Another local FB decided to park next to me, although he has an RB26 swapped into his car. There wasn't a moment that passed when there wasnt 5-6 people around our cars. I was pretty pleased =)

But of course it couldnt all go as planned. On the way home that night the cap on the coolant nipple on the rear iron for the factory throttle body burst, throwing coolant all over everything and causing me to need to get it towed home. Luckily I was only a couple miles from home, cause I soon as I smelled coolant, I pinned it and drove it as far as I could before it started to get hot. Didn't over heat it, don't worry =) And I luckily have friends with big diesel trucks and I always have a tow strap in the car lol

Fill the pipe with black rtv before you put a vacuum cap on it. The only time I've ever had a problem with its was when the rubber degraded from heat and cracked even then coolant barely seep out.

I just ran a 3/8" Coolant overflow line between the two capped points. Holding up so far. Guess we'll see if it holds! lol
