I am working on building a 13B. I dont have a RX-7 yet but looking for first gen.

Any way my question has anyone tapped the early center iron for FC motor mounts?


I thought I seen a tread back in the day but cant find it now.

 

Personally I'd just use a center iron from a FC. I don't enjoy drilling/tapping cast iron. Given that center irons are plentiful and cheap it's the path of least resistance.

 

Cant do that BC of the coolant seals. I have a set of early 13B p-port housings.
