13b efi swap into 84 gsl..

Like the title says. Anybody done anything similar? I can get an 89 engine, tranny, ecu, harness, plus extras...How difficult would this be? I know I would need different engine/ tranny mounts, front oil cooler, and fuel pump. Did I leave anything out? Would the wiring be really difficult?

Many people have done the S-5 turboII swap which is slightly more complicated, big thing is to get the 13b motor mount that RB sells, along with the gsl-se oil pan, wiaring diagrams for both cars and clear your calendar.

do a little searching and I am confident that you will come up with all the answers you need here on the forum. after you search you can PM the individual authors of the threads that you found, and get specific details from them.

good luck

Its not hard for an experienced wrencher.Except for the electronic OMP on the 89-92 cars, which will not bolt to a 1st gen front cover. There are ways around this, but you only have a couple options.
This has been asked MANY times in the last couple weeks,so do a search and youll find all you need.
