SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what you need. These threads are getting mighty old. Someone who's been here since February of last year should know this by now. Not trying to be a dick, just tired of seeing repeditive threads

WOW!!

This has got to be the 10th time in the last week or so.
Please search people.....we are not just trying to push you aside,I swear!
This question is asked over and over and over again. Its getting very tiring and very old.And if you want any kind of concise answers on this thread,we need to know what kind of swap you are looking at doing. There are easier FC swaps and there are harder ones.......

S4 or S5 13B?
Turbo or N/A?
Stock ECU or standalone?
Smog legal or not?
TII tranny or not?
Going into what... GSL-SE,12A FB,SA......?
Your fab skills,tools,budget,abilities,experience with EFI?

No future plans with any bolt ons or porting? You may want to check into a 74-78 13B. It's 4 ports and already carbed

Simple as it can get.....

GSL-SE front cover,GSL-SE oilpan,1st gen oil pickup tube.
Do a little tweeking to the front mount bar and your in.

There is no fab work involved, since you arent changing your induction situation(EFI,turbo, standalone).Wiring is pretty much not an issue, all the gauge senders will swap over.
The FC tranny isnt a direct drop in,but its also not much better than the 1st gen tranny(same basic unit with revised gearing). The FB tranny can be retained and itll bolt right up.

Since your stripping all the EFI off the engine,it will pretty much no longer be a "S4" engine, since all that stuff is what defines the S4 engine.Itll just be another 6 port 13B,which is what the GSL-SE 1st gen came with from the factory.Get the SE parts on that engine and itll mount up with ease.

Just use a basic front mount. No tricks to it. just put it in, hook up the lines, and away you go.

Hey, if your going to remove the fuel injection, I'd be interested in buying it off of you, I will need everything from the FI system though..
